Aperçu du projet

Project Location: Zhongshan City Coverage Area: 376 square meters Completion Date: April 2026 Building Type: Inverted Umbrella Tensile Membrane Cluster Project Background: To create a highly recognizable aerial leisure space, this project involved the construction of a landscape cluster composed of 13 inverted tensile membrane umbrellas on the roof of a three-story steel structure building in Zhongshan City. This inverted umbrella structure not only provides a total of 376 square meters of high-quality sunshade and rain protection for the rooftop but also becomes a striking modern landscape feature with its unique upward funnel shape.

Défi - Solution

Challenge: Restricted Rooftop Workspace & Lifting Constraints The project site was located on the steel structure of a third-floor rooftop, featuring a narrow high-altitude workspace and severe restrictions on load-bearing capacity and space. Conventional large cranes could not approach the site, rendering the “ground pre-assembly and one-time integral lifting” scheme—often used in open-ground projects—completely unfeasible here. Jutent Solution: Step-by-Step On-Site Assembly Process Facing stringent site constraints, our engineering team quickly adapted and adopted a “break-it-down” on-site, step-by-step assembly strategy. The installation process was executed with the precision of “building blocks”: first, the main columns of the 13 landscape umbrellas were accurately hoisted using compact equipment and anchored to the load-bearing nodes on the roof. Once the columns were fixed, installers connected and secured the support rods one by one in the air. Finally, after the structural framework passed strict inspection, the high-altitude membrane was unrolled and edge-tensioned. This strategy perfectly resolved the construction hurdles posed by the restricted high-altitude space.

Heavy-Duty Wind-Resistant Membrane: Considering that wind loads in rooftop environments are typically higher than on the ground, this project specifically upgraded to a heavy-duty 1100g/㎡ PVDF architectural membrane. This specification boasts exceptional tensile strength and tear resistance. Combined with its self-cleaning surface coating, it ensures that the inverted umbrella structure maintains its crisp tension and clean appearance even under strong high-altitude winds and prolonged sun exposure. On-Site Technical Management: The step-by-step assembly process imposes strict requirements on the docking accuracy and installation sequence of each component. Jutent dispatched senior installation engineers to manage the entire process on-site. Through scientific scheduling and tight site coordination, we maximized installation efficiency within the confined operating space, firmly guaranteed the construction schedule, and delivered a high-quality project in April 2026.
