Project Overview
Located in Tel Aviv, Israel, this church tensile membrane canopy project was completed in 2022. The structure covers an area of approximately 378 m² and features a framed dome-style tensile membrane design supported by a steel structure.
The steel framework is treated with an epoxy zinc-rich primer and a white topcoat to ensure long-term corrosion resistance and durability. The roof is clad with 1100 g/m² gray PVDF architectural membrane, rated B1 for fire resistance, meeting safety standards for public and commercial buildings.
Challenge - Solution
The client required a modern canopy that provides effective sun and rain protection while integrating seamlessly with the church’s existing wall structure. After detailed coordination, our design team proposed a dome canopy combined with a curved cantilever membrane edge, achieving both functional coverage and architectural harmony with the existing building.
Installation - Support
On-site installation was carried out by the client’s construction team, with our engineers providing professional guidance throughout the process. A segmented assembly method with crane lifting was adopted to ensure accurate positioning and uniform membrane tension. The project was completed efficiently and in full accordance with design and performance requirements.
