Project Overview
This project is located in Tianhe District, Guangzhou, China, and was completed by our company in August 2023. It consists of two standard tennis courts. The roof measures 45m × 41m, with a projected area of approximately 1,845 m². The structure uses about 50 tons of steel, with a membrane coverage area of approximately 1,870 m². The roof is covered with white PVDF architectural membrane (1300 g/m²), which meets B1 fire rating standards.
Challenge - Solution
The site is surrounded by trees and bamboo, resulting in frequent accumulation of leaves on the courts. The client required a canopy that provides sun and rain protection while preventing leaves from falling onto the courts.
During the design phase, our team focused on structural safety and functional practicality. By adding rainproof modules around the perimeter of the roof, we effectively addressed both waterproofing and leaf prevention, ensuring long-term safe and comfortable use. The client expressed high satisfaction with the proposed solution.
Installation - Support
The surrounding site space was limited, preventing the use of large lifting machinery, and the client requested that on-site installation be completed within 15 days.
We adopted a ground pre-assembly and sectional lifting installation method, achieving fast and efficient construction. The project was successfully delivered on schedule, earning high praise from the client.
