Maintenance
Jutent provides professional warranty and maintenance services for tensile structures, membrane structures, and shade structures, helping them stay safe, durable, and visually appealing for years. Our PVDF membranes come with a 10-year limited warranty, while PTFE membranes are covered for 15 years. Structural components, including powder-coated steel parts and moving elements, have a 1-year warranty. Replacement parts are supplied free of charge, while labor, transport, and installation costs are not included. Replacement components retain the warranty for the remainder of the original coverage period.
The warranty is valid only if the tensile structure or membrane structure is installed according to Jutent’s plans and instructions, maintained properly following our guidelines and standard industry practices, used for its intended purpose, and not damaged by misuse, accidents, or unauthorized modifications

We recommend a full inspection at least once a year, and after any major weather events. In areas with high pollution or near trees, cleaning and inspections should be more frequent. Check membranes for tears, punctures, wear, wrinkles, slackness, or unusual deformation, and repair issues promptly. Surfaces should be cleaned using water or a mild detergent, with soft brushes, cloths, or low-pressure water jets. Avoid strong acids, bases, harsh chemicals, or hard tools to prevent damage to the coating.
Steel components should be cleaned regularly to prevent rust from dust, salt, or other pollutants. In coastal or industrial areas, cleaning should be done more often. Repairs depend on the severity of damage: minor scratches are touched up, light rust is removed and recoated, and more serious corrosion is treated or replaced. With proper care, tensile structures, membrane structures, tensile tents, waterproof shade sails, and outdoor shade canopies remain safe, durable, and visually appealing for years.
