Project Overview
This tensile membrane canopy project is located in Baoxi Village, Yingde City, China, and was completed in 2023. With a total covered area of approximately 619 m², the structure is designed to provide sunshade and rain protection for a village basketball court. The canopy adopts an arched steel frame tensile membrane system. All steel components are treated with an epoxy zinc-rich primer and white topcoat for corrosion resistance. The roof is clad with 1100 g/m² white PVDF architectural membrane with B1 fire rating, meeting safety standards for semi-permanent buildings and public spaces.

Challenge - Solution
The client required a tensile membrane canopy for the village basketball court, focusing on effective sun and rain protection, a simple and modern appearance, and controlled construction costs. Based on these requirements, our designers proposed a standard arched steel frame tensile membrane solution that is economical, practical, and visually clean, fully meeting the client’s functional and budget expectations.
Installation - Support
Installation was carried out by our professional installation team using a segmented assembly method. Steel trusses were lifted with crane assistance to ensure accurate positioning and uniform membrane tension. The project was completed efficiently as planned and met all design and performance requirements.
