Project Overview
This project is located in Foshan, China, and was completed in 2021, covering approximately 1,286 m². It serves as a pedestrian corridor canopy on a school campus, providing sun and rain protection. The structure adopts a wave-shaped steel frame with a tension rod membrane system. The steel framework is treated with epoxy zinc-rich primer and white topcoat for corrosion protection, while the roof uses 1100 g/m² white PVDF membrane with B1 fire rating, meeting semi-permanent building and public safety standards.

Challenge - Solution
The client required a modern-looking membrane canopy for the school corridor that ensures effective weather protection and full compliance with fire safety regulations. Based on these requirements, our designers developed a wave-form, rod-supported tensile membrane solution. The structure is stable, visually distinctive, cost-effective, and well suited to campus environments.
Installation - Support
Installation was carried out on-site by our professional installation team using a phased approach. The steel framework was installed first, followed by the PVDF membrane installation, ensuring uniform membrane tension and precise alignment. The project was completed efficiently and in accordance with the design objectives.
