Project Overview
Located in Hualong Town, Guangzhou, China, this cultural center stage tensile membrane canopy project was completed in May 2019. The canopy spans approximately 24 m × 15 m with a central height of 4.5 m, using around 12 tons of steel to ensure long-term structural stability and durability.
The steel framework features an anti-corrosion system with epoxy zinc-rich primer and white topcoat, enhancing longevity and resistance to weathering. The roof is covered with 1100 g/㎡ white PVDF architectural membrane, B1 fire-rated, fully compliant with public building safety standards.

Design & Renderings
Challenge - Solution
Situated in a central public area, the client requested a canopy that provides effective sun and rain protection while maintaining a modern and clean aesthetic. Our team designed a four-column, slightly curved arched tensile membrane canopy, achieving a lightweight structure with sleek lines. The design enhances both functionality and the visual identity of the stage.
Installation - Support
Installation was fully managed by our professional team. Considering site constraints, we pre-assembled and tensioned the steel frame and membrane on the ground to ensure uniform stress distribution and smooth membrane lines. Using two cranes, the complete structure was lifted and precisely positioned. The efficient installation process ensured timely completion, meeting all design and functional objectives.
