Project Overview
Located in Longmen County, Huizhou, this tensile membrane carport project was completed in November 2024 with a construction period of approximately 15 days. The total area is about 460 m². The primary structure uses I-beam steel, with a total steel volume of approximately 8 tons. The steel is treated with epoxy zinc-rich primer and white topcoat for enhanced durability and corrosion resistance. The roof is covered with 1100 g/m² white PVDF membrane, B1 fire-rated, meeting semi-permanent and public safety standards.
Challenge and Solution
The carport, located within the client’s company premises, required:
• Reliable sunshade and rain protection
• Simple and practical design
We proposed a “7-shaped” I-beam double-span tensile membrane layout that combines functionality and aesthetic appeal, which was approved by the client.
Installation
and Support
The project was fully executed by our professional installation team. A segmented installation method ensured uniform membrane tension, smooth lines, and precise structural placement. Efficient project management allowed completion on schedule, fully meeting design expectations.
Application
Tensile membrane carports are lightweight, visually attractive, quick to install, and highly adaptable, making them ideal for parking lots, EV charging stations, and other semi-permanent public facilities.
