Project Overview
The project is located in Junchuantou Village, Shanwei City, China, and was completed in January 2021. It is a landscape tensile membrane canopy designed for a leisure and public activity area.
The structure adopts a flexible edge cable-supported system, with overall dimensions of approximately 20 m × 15 m, a height of about 4 m, and a total projected area of around 300 sqm. The total steel consumption is approximately 2 tons.
The steel structure is treated with an epoxy zinc-rich primer and a white topcoat, providing enhanced durability and corrosion resistance. The roof is covered with 1100 g/㎡ white PVDF architectural membrane, featuring B1 fire-retardant performance and meeting safety standards for public buildings.
