Project Overview

This tensile membrane canopy project is located in the Maldives and was completed in 2022. Covering approximately 1,636 m², the structure is designed to provide sunshade for a boat marina. The canopy adopts an arched roof form supported by a steel framework. All steel components are treated with an epoxy zinc-rich primer and white topcoat for enhanced corrosion resistance. The roof is clad with 1100 g/m² white PTFE architectural membrane with B1 fire rating, meeting safety standards for semi-permanent buildings and public spaces.
